I have a new desire when it comes to photography. I want to delve into the genre known as "Rooftopping." I have had the opportunity to get some amazing shots of our city here in Seattle while on rooftops, but true rooftopping is different.

Tom Ryaboi has seemingly perfected this art of rooftopping. His images stir something within us far beyond the normal awe when we see a gorgeous image. The intensity displayed in Tom's work has the ability to cause an actual physical reaction in it's viewers - and this is why I desire to do this kind of photography at some point. 

Photography is an art that can often be overlooked, but work such as this reminds us that photography fits well within the rest of the arts by leaving us speechless with our knees shaking.
