Macro Monday | Seattle Photographer

I've always been intrigued by macro photography. There is something about looking at something so small that our eyes miss the intricate details, but getting to see it in a way that is larger than life. Unfortunately, I haven't had the budget to get a specific macro lens.

Enter "Reverse Lens Macro Photography."

Reverse Lens Macro Photography is exactly what it sounds like. You put the lens onto your camera backwards in order to reverse the magnification levels of the lens in order to pull off macro photography.

Recently a yellow jacket found his way into our office - and never wanting to miss an opportunity to capture a shot, I took the chance to get some macro photography of the little guy before getting him back outside. Hopefully the results won't gross you out too much! ;-)
