Black and white photos have a way of speaking to my soul.⁠

There is something about stripping away the distraction of color. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of vibrant and impacting colors in photography - but black and white photos speak to me in a different, yet necessary way.⁠

Moving to the essentials of the scene presents a timeless and classic beauty. It's only about what's in front of you at that moment.⁠

In the midst of many seasons of life, it is good for us to remember that there is still good and beauty in the rawness of a scene. After all of the color and flashiness is gone, and we're only left with the scene itself. We can still appreciate what we have.⁠
