This is the first sunrise I ever was able to experience within Yosemite. And it is one that I will likely never forget!

There was so much anticipation that I arrived almost 3 hours before the sun ever crested and had its rays hit the valley.

Standing there waiting in the same spot that I’ve seen photos of Ansel Adams standing as an awe-inspiring moment.

And as I’ve learned after many trips there - Yosemite did not disappoint.

The sun beautiful came up and shined down upon Yosemite Valley in incredible ways that simply took my breath away.
