Another Trip to Cape Kiwanda
I had the unique pleasure of getting to visit the beautiful Oregon Coast at Cape Kiwanda! Despite rainy weather that kept me off the dunes more than I would prefer, and the crushing blow of finding out that Pedestal Rock had been knocked down - it was an incredibly refreshing visit!

Bonus: For those wondering how I captured the images of the tide rolling in between the rocks, I put my tripod and camera gear at risk with a delicate balancing act between three rocks around the waves. Here's my quick iPhone shot of my gear set up as I waited for the tide to come in.
Given that I didn't lose any gear and got some great shots from it, I would argue that it was totally worth it the risk!
